Greg Kramer heads
to Mid-Am
Greg
Kramer of Urbandale shot a 76 today at The Legacy Golf Club to
earn the lone qualifying spot in the 2010 U.S. Mid-Amateur
Championship. Matt Steddom claimed first alternate
designation by defeating fellow Marshalltown resident Sam Zoske
in a playoff. Kramer will join fellow Iowan Mike McCoy on
to Long Island's Atlantic Golf Club in Bridgehampton, NY
beginning September 25th. McCoy was exempt from qualifying
by virtue of his run to the semifinals of the 2008 U.S.
Mid-Amateur.
