(Courtesy of LPGA.com) Judy Kimball Simon Judy Kimball’s golfing career included not only a successful stint as an amateur in Iowa but as a member of the LPGA Tour for 20 years. As an amateur, she won the 1958 Iowa Women’s State Amateur, took second in both the Trans-Mississippi and Western Amateurs, as well as being the low amateur in the LPGA Waterloo event. After 3 successful years after her win at the Iowa Women’s State Amateur, Judy decided to turn professional and test her skills on the LPGA Tour. As it turns out it was a pretty good decision. After 20 years, she had accumulated over $177, 769 and 4 Tour Victories. One of her victories included the 1962 LPGA Championship. Career Highlights
