Larry Crawford

Larry Crawford really began his service to Iowa golf in 1956 when he accepted the position of Golf Professional and Course Superintendent at Grinnell Golf and Country Club. During his time at the club, Larry served as head golf coach at Grinnell College for 9 years and founded the State Pee Wee Golf Tournament. Larry served as the Golf Professional at Grinnell Golf and Country Club for 30 years until his retirement. Larry had a large impact on the young boy and girl golfers in the Grinnell area during his time as a Pro. Larry is a Life member of the Grinnell Golf and Country Club, the PGA, the Iowa Golf Association, and the American Legion in Tama.
