Hall of Fame™
The Iowa Golf Hall of Fame™ is a project of the Iowa Golf Association and is made up of those individuals who had a significant impact on the game of golf in Iowa. The IGA is currently working to create a permanent physical location for the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame™. Until that location is created, this is the ONLY place you are able to learn more about the 38 members of the Hall of Fame and the impression that they left on the game of golf in Iowa! Members of the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame™ include Amateur Players, Golf and Club Professionals, Journalists, Superintendents, and Benefactors for the game of golf. Nominations are taken for consideration and voted upon by the members of the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame Committee.
2011 Hall of fame nominations!
The 2011 Iowa Golf Hall of Fame™ Nomination Form is now available. Nominations are due October 31, 2010. New inductees will be considered for nomination in the spring of 2011. There are six categories for nomination.
