The Iowa Golf Hall of Fame is made up of those who had a significant impact on the game of golf in Iowa. Members of the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame include Players, Golf and Club Professionals, Journalists, Superintendents, and Benefactors of the game of golf. Nominations are taken for consideration and voted upon by the members of the Iowa Golf Association Board of Directors.
Without a physical location for the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame, this is the only place you are able to learn more about the 38 members of the Hall of Fame and the impression that they made on the game of golf in Iowa. Class of 2008 Announced!
The Iowa Golf Association is pleased to announce the induction of three new members to the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame, bringing the total number of members to 38. The class of 2008 includes Tom Chapman Jr. of Fort Dodge, Rudy Knepper of Sioux City, and Larry Stewart of Newton. The class of 2008 was enshrined on Friday April 4th at the DMACC Newton Conference Center in Newton, IA. The reception began at 6 p.m. with the Inductions following at 7 p.m. Photos from the Induction Ceremony can be found here.
