The Iowa Golf Hall of Fame is administered by the Iowa Golf Association and the IGA Foundation on behalf of all golf organizations in Iowa. Established in 1989, six “classes” were inducted through 1997. After a nine year hiatus the IGA led the effort to revitalize the Hall of Fame resulting in the induction of the “Class of 2006”. Yearly inductions have occurred since. The Induction ceremony held at Glen Oaks CC on April 19, 2018 was a great success. Five new mem- bers were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Those in- cluded were Tom Chapman Sr., Charlie Burkart, Larry Gladson, Ivan Miller and Bill Sheehan. A condensed listing of achomplishments can be found on the next page. Hall of Fame displays and memorabilia are displayed at the IGAF office located in Ankeny.
