He finished the tournament at 3 over par (217) to win by 1 over defending champion Adam Fields. Danke ended up saving his best round for last, shooting 70 (-2) in conditions where only the mentally strong could prevail. Temperatures never got above the mid-40s and the wind made it feel even colder. Danke had opened the tournament shooting a round of 76 (+4) at The Bluffs in Vermillion, South Dakota. He followed that up with a round of 71 (+1) at Covington Links in South Sioux City, Nebraska. That left him four shots behind leader Adam Fields as they teed off the final round at Green Valley Golf Course. After battling each other (and the cold) it would eventually come down to the final hole where Fields had a chance to tie the tournament up and force a playoff. He was ultimately unsuccessful in converting the putt thus securing the win for Danke. The Senior Division als came down to the wire. Bill Mathers, of Cushing, won in a two-hole playoff over Scott Wieck to claim the title. Mathers and Wieck both finished with a total score of 230. Open Division Senior Division
