CARROLL AMATEUR CARROLL COUNTRY CLUB, CARROLL JUNE 13-14, 2020 Andrew O’Brien, of Clive, stepped up to earn a victory at the 2020 Carroll Amateur. He stood tied with defending champion Nate McCoy, of Ankeny, heading to the final hole of the tournament. O’Brien birdied the par-4 18th to seize a two-shot victory. In the Senior Division, Jeff Panek, of Johnston, dispatched Norwalk’s Gary Ellis in a playoff to capture the title.
