FORT DODGE AMATEUR FORT DODGE COUNTRY CLUB, FORT DODGE JUNE 26-28, 2020 Andrew Huseman, of Ankeny, successfully defended his title at the 2020 Fort Dodge Amateur. He carried a four-stroke lead heading into the final round, where he survived a strong push from Ankeny’s Nate McCoy. Huseman carded rounds of 65-67-71 for a ten-under par total of 203. McCoy was solid all tournament, firing three consecutive rounds of 68 to finish one shy of Huseman. In the Senior Division, Norwalk’s Terry Cook brought home the hardware. Cook fired rounds of 69-72-70 for a 54- hole tally of 211 (-2) to win by two shots. Joe Bates, of Albia, earned runner-up honors after his steady play, posting rounds of 72-71-70 to finish at 213 (E).
