IOWA MASTERS VEENKER MEMORIAL GOLF COURSE, AMES JULY 10-12, 2020 Charles Jahn, of Sperry, earned a breakthrough victory at the 83rd Iowa Masters. After top 5 finishes in last year’s 117th Iowa Amateur Championship and 70th Herman Sani Tournament, Jahn secured a victory after a nearly flawless week at Ames’ Veenker Memorial Golf Course. Defending champion Nate McCoy, of Ankeny, played steady on the final day, posting a round of 70 (-2) for a total of 210 (-6) to finish runner- up. It was McCoy's third runner-up finish of the year in Sanctioned Point Events. Joe Palmer, of Norwalk, clinched the title in the Senior Division, finishing 11 shots clear of the field with rounds of 70-74-71 for a total of 215 (-1).
