JESTER PARK GOLF COURSE, GRANGER JUNE 19-20, 2021 IGA FATHER-SON & PARENT CHILD Smi les , Laughs , and Great Memor ies at the Father/Son, Parent /Chi ld T here were many moments to remember at this year's Father/Son and Parent/Child Championship. Funny moments, spectacular scores, and a early morning downpour on the Sunday group. The format for this event is modified alternate shot. Each partner tees off, the team selects the more favorable ball, and then they alternate from that point forward until the ball is holed. Neil Johnson and Robert (Bob) Johnson (pictured right) were crowned the Father/Son Open Division Champions for the third time in the history of the event. The Johnson's fired a 4-under round of 68 and defeated the 2020 champions, John and Tanner Dinnebier by a single stroke. Bob Johnson has now won this event four total times, once with his son Jay back in 2010. Bob and Neil also won the 2012 and 2014 Father/Son Open Division. Maura and Ben Peters held up the Parent/Child Open Division trophy after a 1-over round of 73 on the rainy Sunday.
