Hunter Johnson, 2020 Junior Amateur Champion, hits his tee shot on the par 5, seventh hole. on 18 to send him to a playoff with Spear. In the playoff, Spear found trouble off the tee into some of the fescue, but drew a solid lie. Hansen fixed his mistake from his previous tee shot on 18 during the regulation round and drove it into the middle of the fairway. Spear's next shot found the greenside bunker and didn't have much green to work with. Hansen's shot from the fairway went just over the green and into the rough. In the bunker, Spear's shot flew out, but remained just short of the green. Hansen's chip got within seven feet of the hole and he knew he needed to make that putt to win. Hansen lined up the putt and drilled it in the center of the hole, giving him the edge over Spear and securing the win. Hunter Johnson earned third place honors after carding an even-par round of 71. Corbin Walker finished in fourth place after a 74 in his final round and Mason Weeks took fifth place with a 224 three-round total. Mason Weeks of Spirit Lake had three consistant rounds of 74- 74-76 to finish in the top five and earn a medal.
