132 Youth on Course is all about access for junior golfers. Kids aged 6-18 can sign up for a yearly membership. Courses participate in the program and offer days and times when YOC members can come to play for $5 or less. Then the IGA Foundation sends each course a subsidy payment for every round played by a YOC member at the end of each month. Subsidies typically range from $5-7 per round, meaning the courses realize $10-12 per YOC round. IGA/IGAF Executive Director, Chad Pitts, completed a Hundred-Hole-Hike in 2022 to benefit YOC. The Hundred-Hole-Hike is a national fundraising effort where individuals take on the challenge of playing 100 holes of golf in a single day, walking those holes the entire time. This was the fourth year Chad has completed a hike and each time the miles walked is between 25-27. This year was another extremely successful ‘hike’. The hike raised approximately $6,500 in donations to YOC. Youth on Course continues to grow year over year (we started here in Iowa in 2018).
