2024 IGA Yearbook

124 Friends and supporters of the IGA Foundation, 2024 will be a year that we’ll all look back on as a historic and transformative period for the foundation. I can remember meeting Bill Dickens almost 15 years ago for breakfast to talk about getting more involved with the Sani Scholarship and potentially the IGA & IGAF. At the time, the association was headquartered in Urbandale in a strip mall off Douglas Avenue. Shortly after, the IGA relocated to a commercial office building in Ankeny where it remained until earlier this year. Hidden inside were stacks of books, artifacts, headshots of Iowa Golf Hall of Famers, and trophies from the biggest tournaments in the state. All of that changed this year. Today, you can (and if you haven’t yet…you should) step foot into a world class facility called Golf House Iowa just east of Echo Valley Country Club in Des Moines.
