126 Golf House Iowa On May 30, 2024, Golf House Iowa officially opened its doors to the public! We are excited to have a dedicated space to honor the remarkable history of golf in Iowa and foster the development of future golfers through our state-of- the-art education and training facilities. As you enter, you will be welcomed by the legends of the Iowa Golf Hall of Fame, accompanied by a vibrant collage of historic images and two digital screens that offer insights into their lives and contributions. Progressing through the hall, you will arrive at the museum, which showcases a timeline of golf from its beginnings to the present day. Here, you can explore the major championships hosted in Iowa and celebrate the exceptional performers on the amateur and professional stage. The walls are adorned with artifacts, including a golf ball from Zach Johnson and a club belonging to the JackWelsh - past president of the Iowa PGA and Iowa GCSA. As you move on, you’ll discover the Elliott Family Media Room where you can view the names inscribed on the Iowa Amateur, Iowa Women's Amateur, and Men's &Women's Match Play trophies while enjoying a feature film that narrates the history of golf in our beloved state. There is so much to explore within these walls, including two simulators and an indoor putting green, which are actively used by juniors and IGA members.We invite you to visit us at our new location next to Echo Valley Country Club in Norwalk!
