56 T eamMissouri walked away with the 2024 Junior Girls' Four State trophy on July 2nd. This years event was held at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri. In the openning round of Foursome matches, team Iowa walked away with half a point. Hannah Pettitt and Mehar Julka battled their way back to tie the match with Kansas' Cagle and Myers. Nebraska's Lovegrove and Muran defeated Morgan Rupp and Lauren Briggs 1 up. A 4&2 finish sealed the match for Ryan and Cameron of Missouri over Chloe Bolte and Molly Ratchford. In the afternoon, Four-Ball matches kicked off. Team Iowa fought hard but fell short in all three matches. Kansas' Neese and Douglass defeated Bolte and Rupp 3&2, Missouri's Lenox and McLaughlin defeated Briggs and Pettitt 4&2, and Nebraska's Kim and Larsen dominated over Julka and and Ratchford 8&6. Team Iowa had some work to do, but were not going to give up quite yet. Singlesmatches turned out to be a different story as Iowa earned three points. Briggs defeated Kansas' Powell 2&1, Julka played lights out taking down Missouri's Withington 7&5, and Bolte won 2&1 over Nebraska's Karmazin. In the end Team Missouri would claim victory with 8.5 points, leaving Team Nebraska and Kansas tied for second at six, and Team Iowa fourth at 3.5 points.
