68 FEATURING 100 WOMEN For 20 weeks leading up to the 100th Iowa Women’s Amateur Championship, we celebrated the lives and achievements of over 120 women who have had a significant impact on the course and within their communities. We honored a variety of individuals, including past champions, volunteer board members, teachers, and coaches, reflecting on the many faces of Iowa women’s golf. Karli Kerrigan (pictured right) - with the occasional assist from Paige Hoffman, Mikayla Olson, and Rick Brown - dedicated nearly 100 hours to writing articles that revealed new stories and highlighted trailblazers from the archives. These articles were published each Wednesday before the championship and garnered over 260,000 views in total. This initiative served as a wonderful tribute to the influential women in Iowa golf history.
