2025 Yearbook

26 New Championship Volunteers The IGA relies heavily on the generosity and dedication of our volunteers to help administer our programs. Two areas where this support is especially vital are championships and course rating. In 2025, we focused on recruiting new volunteers in both areas to support the IGA's continued growth and welcome more people into the organization. Thanks to these efforts, eleven new volunteers assisted at championships this year and twelve individuals attended course rating training. Brad Nelson Brad jumped into tournament volunteering full force, assisting at six different champi- onships this season - often driving several hours to be there. He maintained a positive attitude throughout the year, even on some of the toughest weather days, As an attorney Brad is no stranger to studying, and he's now putting that skill to the Rules of Golf. 9 DAYS WORKED Steve Roe Steve is passionate about sports and the Uni- versity of Iowa, with prior experience in Iowa's sports information department.
