2025 Yearbook

15 included rating numerous tees for the first time. In most cases these are forward tees that have been built in recent years to give golfers of various abilities the opportunity to play a tee more suited to their game. It’s exciting to see so many clubs embracing the “Play It Forward” concept. These efforts are making the game more enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Volunteers With added ratings comes more responsibility and time on the road. To make this all possible we need dedicated volunteers. This year we welcomed nearly 20 new Course Rating Volunteers and look forward to working with them in the seasons ahead. Their contributions are vital to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our rating system, and we’re grateful for their commitment. Looking Ahead As we look ahead to 2026, we’re filled with optimism and appreciation. The game of golf in Iowa continues to grow in ways that strengthen communities, connect people, and promote lifelong enjoyment. Thank you to everyone who plays a role, from club leaders to volunteers to everyday golfers. Let’s keep building on this incredible momentum together!
