is attending Eastern Kentucky
University in Richmond,
Kentucky. He plans on
studying risk management
and insurance. He will also
be playing on the Eastern
Kentucky Men’s Golf team.

Des Moines. She is attending
the University of Northern
Iowa where she plans on
studying speech pathology. She
also plays on the UNI Women’s
Golf team.

Herman Sani Scholarship | Ann Griffel Scholarship
The IGA Foundation administers two college scholarship programs that annually benefit grad-
uating seniors from Iowa high schools.
The
Herman Sani Scholarship Program
is a four-year scholarship awarded to outstanding grad-
uating seniors who have excelled in academics, community service, and have been involved
with golf.
Each recipient receives $8,000 ($2,000 per year) over a consecutive four-year pe-
riod.
Since 1950, 174 Iowa students have been awarded Sani Scholarships.
The IGAF awards
$2,000 Ann Griffel Scholarships
to Iowa high school senior girls who intend to
further their education at an Iowa institution of higher learning, whether a college, university,
or trade school. Since 1963, 233 students have received assistance.

Iowa. Ann is attending Briar
Cliff University, where she
is pursuing an education in
Nursing. She also is playing on
the Briar Cliff Women’s Golf

Beth Stolte
Graduated from Winterset High
School in Winterset, Iowa. She
is attending Simpson College in
Indianola. At Simpson College
she intends to pursue a degree
in Clinical Health Sciences. Beth
will also be continuing her golf
career as a member of the
Simpson Women’s Golf team.
Johanna Vander Wilt
Graduated from South Hardin
High School in Eldora, Iowa.
She is attending Wartburg
College and persuing a degree
in Elementary Education.
Volunteers play all day to raise money for Scholarships
We’d like to thank everyone that came out and played
in the IGA Foundation Griffel-Sani Scholarship Golf
Marathon. Eight golfers participated in the 2017
marathon tallying up at least 100 holes of golf each.
