The 2016 IGA Father-Son and

centered event provided good-
spirited golf for all ages over the
Father’s Day weekend.
In the Open Division, father-son
duo Tyler and Jeff Smith took home
first-place with a three-under,
68. The Smith’s card featured five
birdies for their round. Finishing just
two-strokes behind them, earning
runner-up honors, was Bob and Neil
Johnson with a one-under, 70. Sonja

honors in the Parent-Child Open
Division. They fired a three-over 74
to edge second-place finishers Lisa
and Chad Baker (76.)
The Father-Son Young Adult division
was decided on the 18th hole.
Through 17 holes, Dave and Tanner
Schurke and Mike and Owen Sawyer

capped off their round with a birdie,
while the Sawyer’s made bogey on
the last. With a four-over, 75, the
Schurke’s were victorious.
