At the tournament, the four 2016 Herman Sani
Scholars were recognized. Charles Jahn, Logan
Schweinefus, Karli Kerrigan and Sara Overton were
all on hand to formally accept their scholarship
honors. Jahn, Schweinefus and Kerrigan all
played 18-holes on Saturday afternoon in the
honored Sani Scholar group. With a one-over, 73,
Schweinefus was the recipient of the Frohwein
Award. This annual award is presented to the Sani
Scholar with the lowest first round score at the
Herman Sani Tournament.
