The 2017 IGA Father-Son and Parent-Child Championship took place at Jester Park Golf Course
on June 17-18. In recent years this event has taken place over Father’s Day weekend and continues
to be one of the most enjoyable events of the year – for both competitors and IGA staff.
However a bit of strategy must be taken into account due to the modified alternate shot format,
which is used for the event, as one player will tee off the even holes while the other will tee off the
odd.
While champions are crowned in several divisions at the conclusion of the event, the memories
made at every corner of the course are the highlight of the year for many.
