SCROLL TO VIEW FULL SCHEDULE
The IGA Women’s Cloud Series allows players of any ability to partner up and play on their own schedule at a course of their choice. Once registered, you will have one month to play and submit your scores through a mobile Golf Genius scorecard. The results will be added to the tournament leaderboard, and at the end of the playing window, the top team in gross and net will earn medalist honors and receive a small prize.
These events are only $10 per person ($20 per team). Open to Iowa Golf Association members with an active GHIN number. Half of all entries ($10) will go towards a purse while the remaining half ($10) goes towards the IGA Foundation Scholarships. If you would like to learn more about the IGA Foundation Scholarships, click here: https://iowagolf.org/scholarships/
The IGA utilizes Golf Genius for tournament entries. If you are new to IGA events, you and your partner will need to create a Golf Genius account here. If you’re a returning participant, you can use your established credentials to sign up. Information necessary for registration includes:
- Name
- GHIN # (must have an active account)
- Cell # (used to send custom scorecard code)
- Course you plan to play*
- Tee you plan to play*
* The course you play must have a current Course and Slope Rating. If you register and the course or tee you originally signed up to play changes, please notify the IGA. It is your responsibility to do so before the score entry period ends.
TIP – If you can’t find your partner during registration, they likely haven’t created a Golf Genius account yet.
- Download the Golf Genius mobile app (this is how you will record your hole-by-hole score)
- Book your tee time at any course in the IGA territory during the month to be played (for example: May Two-Person Scramble scores can be submitted any day from May 1 to May 31).
- May – Two-Person Scramble
- Registration will open 4/1/2026
- Registration will close 4/30/2026
- July – Two-Person Best Ball (Four-Ball)
- Registration will open 6/1/2026
- Registration will close 6/30/2026
- September – Two-Person Scramble
- Registration will open 8/1/2026
- Registration will close 8/31/2026
Format Description:
- Two-Person Scramble: Both players tee off, pick the better shot, both play their next shots from that spot, and continue picking the best shot until the ball is holed. Team records one score per hole (the best-team score).
- Two-Person Best Ball (Four-Ball): Two-player teams; each player plays their own ball. On each hole, the lower score of the two (the “best ball”) is the team score.
Two-Person Scramble: We will use 35% of the Course Handicap of the player with the lowest Index on the team and 15% of the Course Handicap of the player with the highest Index. This will combine to form the team’s Playing Handicap.
Two-Person Best Ball (Four-Ball): You earn strokes based on your Playing Handicap. These strokes (dots) are assigned to holes based on the Stroke Index Allocation (handicap holes) of the tee you’re playing and will appear on the digital scorecard you receive.
For each event (month), we will be giving out three prizes:
- Low Gross**
- Low Net**
- Participation-based prize (random drawing for those participating)
**Because courses and tees vary in par, scores are shown on the leaderboard as strokes relative to par (for example, −4). This is how prizes will be awarded.
