Iowa Cup Team Standings
This year will mark the 56th playing of the Iowa Cup Matches which are held annually between the states top amateurs and professionals. In 2023 the event will be staged at Hyperion Field Club in Johnston on September 28 & 29.
The format of the event remains the same. Four-Ball and Foursome (alternate shot) matches will take place in the morning and afternoon, respectively, of day one while Singles matches will be held on day two.
Points are calculated using 100% of the current year's point total. Points will accumulate through August 13th for Open Division players (end of the Herman Sani Tournament) and August 27th for Senior Division players (end of Briarwood Amateur).
The top 14 players in the Open division and the top 4 players in the Senior division will be invited to play. The top point earner in the Open Division by August 13th will receive two captains picks to round out the 20 person squad.
NOTE: Due to NCAA rules, college players may not be eligible to compete.
